The quorum for the Annual General Body Meeting shall be 1/5th of total registered members or 20 members, whichever is less. In societies with more than 100 members, the maximum quorum remains capped at 20.
If quorum is absent within 30 minutes from the appointed time, the meeting stands adjourned to later the same day or to a subsequent date not exceeding 7 days, as decided by the Chairman.
No quorum is required for an adjourned meeting. The members present may proceed with and decide upon the business transacted on the original listed agenda items only.
